dream muppets

Early this morning I had a dream that I was back at our old "cabin-in-the-woods" in the Adirondacks. Only, it wasn't exactly the cabin. The extended Borneman family was arriving, and it seemed like they were all very very old. I wanted to go out to the lake, to wait for someone who I was anxious to see, but it was obvious that I needed to help all these elderly people into the house. All the people were also muppets of some kind. There was one old woman named Mary, wearing a red coat and a scarf who was more like a elephant or dog--she walked on all fours, and she was a muppet too. She was stuck with her front legs on the edge of a tall rock, and her hind legs on the ground. I had to give her a boost. Then I helped her into the house. Uncle Carl was there with her. I brought her up a long set of stairs, and once we were on the second floor I asked her which room she wanted to go to. She said the kitchen, but I did not know where that was. Then one of the relatives came flying in the room, and said that there was no kitchen on the second floor. She was mad at Mary because I had gone to all the trouble of bringing her up, but now she was on the wrong floor. This angry relative looked like Kermit the frog with a brown wig on, and was wearing a long brown coat. I remember thinking that I didn't realize that Kermit was part of a whole race of muppet frogs (including women muppet frogs). It was strange to see a female Kermit.

This post is for my mother, who loves to hear people talk about their dreams.
